Dedicated to the late Justice Moijo Ole Keiwua, Trustee and founding member of the Kenya Wildlife Trust, the Justice Ole Keiwua Wildlife Scholarship has been established to invest in developing conservation leaders. The scholarship will recognise, encourage and promote leadership among future wildlife management professionals through supporting their wildlife and conservation-based education.
KWT has previously supported the education of individuals through teacher scholarship programmes and secondary education scholarships. However, it has been recognised that it is imperative to support the further education of future wildlife advocates and opinion leaders within various communities across the country for sustainable conservation.
KWT is a legally registered trust in Kenya, with registration number 1608. Friends of Kenya Wildlife Trust is a 501(c)(3) public charity in the USA, with tax identification number 01-0909843. Donations in the USA are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law and donors receive no goods or services for their donations.
We are in the process of diversifying the ways individuals and businesses can support conservation in Kenya through KWT. Watch this space for more information in the near future!
